Artmapa exists to keep this tradition alive. Grounded in Ruben Atayan’s 30 years of hand-drawn cartography and a technique unchanged since the 17th century, we publish, sell, and license his work, and help bring new maps into the world for generations to come.
Learn more →Atayan Ruben works in original engineering techniques from the XVII century: manually, ink and watercolor. The special attention is given to general decoration of panoramas, where elements are stylised to antique maps.
Unrepeatable style makes Atayan Ruben one of a kind. In the collection of the artist there are more than 120 hand drawn artworks. The originals are made in miniature from 21.0 x 29.7 cm to 84.1 cm × 118.9 cm

Ruben Atayan is the author of more than 120 original cartographic artworks — cities, islands, monasteries, and cathedrals from Vilnius to Mecca, from Gdańsk to Angkor Wat. His maps have been twice awarded at the International Cartographic Association.
Artmapa is the family business behind Ruben Atayan’s work. Beyond selling prints, we collaborate with publishers, tourism bodies, hotels, and institutions
